Claude Code reportedly sent the API key configured for a third-party gateway to Anthropic's own servers on five kinds of routine requests, and version 2.1.299 stops this. Anthropic's changelog says the fix covers feature flag, startup, fast mode, profile and feedback requests, while Anthropic API keys are still sent on them.

MIT engineers have built a soft, stretchable sheet that works out its own 3D shape as it bends and twists, with an error the team puts at under 0.4 centimetres. Graduate student Qifan Yu said in MIT's release that existing designs based on rigid sensors have errors of around 1 to 2 centimeters.

Nvidia says it will close the Linux external-monitor freeze bug it has tracked since 2023 (bug 4322356, where the external monitor froze permanently in Reverse PRIME on X11), but only if complete freezes stop being reported. It now treats a short pause on a second monitor as expected behaviour.

The band hands raw electrode samples to anything that can prove it owns the band, and Meta has only ever priced it together with the glasses.
